it's been so long since he last slowed himself down...
leaving everything behind...
he went to the countryside...
the small cottage was still there...
he didn't realize the smile he has on his face...
memories...

flying kites... just like old days...
on the small hill,
at the hind yard of the cottage...
their cottage, the place where he grew up...
dad and mum, happy to see him back...
rushed out, big hugs, and kisses, and laughter...
what can be better,
than a happy life, a wonderful family,
and a peaceful mind...

sunset... beautiful scenery...
it's the sunset that year...
he will never forget...
his father, his mother...
his little sister...
and his dog...

dinner time...
he saw his mum waving at him...
from the little window at the kitchen...
smoke coming out from the funnel,
forming different shapes in the golden reddish sky...
he stood up... one more look on the meadow...
walked home slowly...

another summer almost ended...
time passed so fast...
but, no matter what,
the memory lasts...
